This March, we reopened the Lab in a new location in Markham, creating a refreshed space for experimentation, new drinks, and gathering with our community. Designed as a place where ideas can evolve freely, the Lab allows us to explore new matcha creations, test seasonal concepts, and share special moments with the people who love matcha as much as we do. From creative drink development to community events and limited releases, Matcha Matcha Lab represents an exciting new chapter for our brand — a space where curiosity and craftsmanship come together.

Matcha Hunt: Find Us If You Can
To celebrate the reopening of the Lab, we created a Matcha Hunt across Markham.
Special Matcha Matcha cards were hidden around the city in a variety of locations. Each card contains a prize and helps guide participants closer to the Lab. The idea was simple: explore, search, and uncover clues that lead to our new space.
The hunt quickly turned into a fun community activity, with people sharing hints, checking different locations, and trying to be the first to find the hidden cards.
For those lucky enough to discover one, the cards can be redeemed at the Lab between March 9 and March 12.
Following the Photo Clues
To make the hunt even more interactive, we shared a series of photo clues hinting at where the cards might be hidden.
Each photo captures a small detail of a location around Markham, sometimes a recognizable landmark, sometimes just a subtle hint. Participants need to look closely and piece together the clues to narrow down the search.

Grand Opening
After the Matcha Hunt concludes, we will officially celebrate the reopening of Matcha Matcha Lab with our Grand Opening on March 13.
The opening marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Lab. Guests will be able to experience the space, explore new drinks, and discover what we’ve been creating behind the scenes.
To celebrate the occasion, we will be offering BOGO 50% OFF on all drinks during the Grand Opening.
