Crafted by legacy, perfected by nature. Handpicked and stone-milled in Kyoto by Horii Shichimeien — one of the oldest tea producers in Japan and the only remaining active garden among the original Uji Shichimeien — this ceremonial-grade matcha carries centuries of tradition in every scoop.
This matcha is bold, creamy, and umami-rich. With a deeper, more intense flavor profile and a smooth finish, it’s ideal for those who enjoy a stronger matcha experience. Perfect for usucha (thin tea), lattes, or even koicha (thick tea) when you’re looking for a fuller body and lasting richness.
Robust, complex, and rooted in heritage — this matcha is crafted for those who prefer depth and intensity in every cup.

a really nice tasting, not too complex matcha. idk if my scale is inaccurate and i’m actually using too much but it is finishing faster than i expected 😭 it’s ok still worth it because i could otherwise blow through $50 by only getting 5 drinks from matcha matcha, instead i am able to make way more than just 5 drinks with the $52 horii shichimeien.
